Other Treatments - What You Need To Know

Our other treatments can be designed how you want them, from surgical options such as breast enlargement or reduction, to skincare, to vaginal rejuvenation.

For surgical options, you will initially see Dr Saliba at least twice and in these consults, Dr Saliba will get to know you, and what you are looking to achieve as well as assess your medical and personal history. The consultation will also equip you with the financial information that you need in order to make an informed decision as to whether surgery is the right course of action for you. We can tailor a number of treatments as part of your treatment plan.

Other Treatment Options

What is Vaginal Rejuvenation Therapy?

Vaginal rejuvenation, sometimes referred to as vaginal tightening or intimate rejuvenation, is a non-invasive procedure that can treat a variety of issues facing women as their vagina changes with age and key milestones (such as childbirth or menopause), including Stress Urinary Incontinence, dryness, vaginal tightness, recurring infection and more.

What is FemiLift?

FemiLift is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure used for vaginal rejuvenation and tightening. It uses a CO2 laser to stimulate collagen production and improve the overall tone and tightness of the vaginal tissues.

Unlike other surgical procedures, the FemiLift treatment can be done in an outpatient location. This means at the doctors office! So no need to commit to a hospital. There are very little to none side-effects and practically no downtime.

Why Choose FemiLift?

When it comes to vaginal rejuvenation there are a few options, however at Le Sands Clinic we prefer FemiLift, for a number of reasons:

  • 100% Safe: Clinically proven, cutting-edge technology; hygienic disposable probe for individual use.

  • Effective: Immediate results that make a difference.

  • Versatile: Treats common female health conditions; two sizes for varying anatomical fit.

  • Outpatient Environment: Quick, minimally invasive, minimal downtime, no bleeding or pain.

  • Part of your Life: Easily integrated into routine healthcare and lifestyle management.

What Does Vaginal Rejuvenation Treat?

Vaginal rejuvenation can treat several conditions related to the vagina, including:

  • Vaginal looseness: surgery or laser treatments to tighten the vaginal muscles.

  • Vaginal dryness: laser treatments to improve vaginal moisture levels.

  • Stress urinary incontinence: surgery to support the urethra and bladder to treat leakage during physical activity.

  • Painful sexual intercourse: laser treatments to improve vaginal lubrication and reduce pain during intercourse.

How Does FemiLift Work?

Like skin, vaginal tissue is made up of collagen fibers which give it strength and flexibility.

FemiLift uses the clinically established CO2 laser technology to gently heat vaginal tissue, contracting existing fibers and stimulating the formation of new collagen.

Using a hand-held device, the treatment is delivered with care and precision.

The FemiLift treatment improves the functionality of the entire vaginal area, and each session lasts approximately 30 minutes.

What Can I Expect After Vaginal Rejuvenation Therapy?

Recovery from a FemiLift procedure is generally minimal, with patients able to return to normal activities within a few days. However, the specific recovery process may vary depending on the individual and the extent of the procedure. Here are a few general tips that may aid recovery:

  • Avoid sexual activity, tampons, and strenuous exercise for several days after the procedure.

  • Use a sanitary pad for a few days to manage any mild discharge.

  • Use ice packs to help reduce swelling and discomfort.

  • Follow any post-procedure instructions provided.

It is important to keep in mind that every patient’s recovery process is unique, and it is best to discuss the expected recovery process with us during your consultation.

How Long Will Results Last?

Each treatment should be effective in increasing sexual satisfaction and/or reducing stress urinary incontinence and should for 6-12 months. In some forms of SUI, other treatments may be more suitable, and Dr Saliba will advise on these at your first consultation.
